Biography
With a steadfast commitment to justice and advocacy and over two decades in the legal field, Sara Stringfield brings a breadth of expertise to her practice on the litigation team. Since 2011, Sara has championed the rights of vulnerable individuals in the courtroom, from serving in her law school's pro bono human rights and immigration clinic, to public defense of minors in child protection proceedings. Prior to joining our office, Sara worked on trial teams defending medical malpractice and personal liability insurance carriers.
Sara studied at the College of Idaho, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in History with a concentration in The Classics, worked for two semesters as a teaching assistant in ancient civilizations courses, and received departmental honors. She started her career at the Idaho Attorney General's Office, working in marketplace and consumer protection law. A classically-trained pianist, Sara was gigging as a keyboardist in an Afrobeat band with refugee bandmates, when she heard the call to attend law school, specifically for the purpose of practicing human rights law.
In her free time, she volunteers as a court-appointed special advocate and works on design teams creating and building art installations.
