Biography

Mina is a first-generation Japanese American, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds dual Bachelor of the Arts degrees in Criminal Justice and Anthropology and a minor in Spanish language and literature from George Washington University.

Mina received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she served on the boards for the Hastings Association of Youth Advocates (HAYA) and Asian Pacific-Islander American Law Students Association (APALSA). During law school, she externed for the Honorable Linda Colfax in the San Francisco Family Court and for the Public Defender's Office in Oakland, California.

Before joining the Law Offices of Robert B. Jobe, Mina worked in the removal defense units at Catholic Charities of the East Bay and the Mira Law Group. Since coming to Jobe Law, Mina has expanded her prior expertise focused on clients from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico to include clients from India as well.

In her free time, Mina enjoys spending time with her foster youth through the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program and with her Yorkshire terrier, Michi.
