Biography

Julia Quinn has spent over ten years vigorously fighting for her clients' rights both domestically and abroad. In 2008, Julia graduated with honors from Saint Mary's College of California where she majored in anthropology and minored in comparative religions. After college, Julia chose to move to Vietnam where she volunteered in Hải Dương province working with orphans and children with disabilities. Julia went on to attend University of San Francisco School of Law and focused her studies in the area of international human rights. There, Julia worked with the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva and with the Frank C. Newman International Human Rights Clinic. Julia also interned with the Cambodian Centre for Human Rights in Phnom Penh. There she advocated for the rights of human rights defenders who were being persecuted by the government. Julia has also dedicated much of her career to fiercely work for survivors of domestic violence. Julia established published case law in the case of Gou v. Xiao [228 Cal.App.4th 812] which expanded the rights of domestic violence survivors to seek protection in the State of California.

 

Julia understands that her clients are often dealing with or working to overcome some of the worst times in their lives. Julia prides herself on the compassion she shows each client and ensuring their voices are heard. Julia works closely with her clients and the entire team at the Offices of Robert B. Jobe on utilizing creative and effective strategies to achieve the best possible outcome. When not working, Julia enjoys spending time with her fiance, Jason, and their dogs going to the beach, hiking, surfing and traveling.
