Rebekah Fugate graduated from Wheaton College where she studied Political Science and Spanish. Living in various states throughout her childhood caused her to develop a love for travel, so she spent her senior year of college studying in Salamanca, Spain. Her studies in political science fostered a commitment to social justice, and she completed her internship working for La Fundacion Gemina in Santa Fe, Argentina. This non-profit organization works to educate women in Argentina about sexual and reproductive health care and their rights within this sphere. She is fluent in Spanish but would very much like to learn another language.
