Cody Wofsy graduated with highest honors in Philosophy from U.C. Santa Cruz. He won several prestigious awards for his independent research projects, including a thesis on the interaction between the rectification of historical injustices and libertarian concepts of limited state power. For three years during college he facilitated workshops on sexual assault with UCSC Rape Prevention Education.
After graduation Cody worked for several years as a paralegal and then senior paralegal at a small criminal and administrative defense law firm in Oakland. In 2008 he lived in Mexico and traveled extensively in Central and South America, and speaks Spanish. Cody is excited to be advocating for immigrant rights, and is a passionate believer in the potential of the law to protect those who need it most.
