Brian Raynor graduated from the Friends World Program of Long Island University with a degree in Political Science. Passionate about inter-cultural education, Brian has lived and studied in Jerusalem, Accra and London. His thesis was based on the sectarian conflict in Northern Ireland, focusing on the role of educational policy in alleviating and exacerbating the ethnic divide. After spending a year working as a legal assistant in a plaintiff’s employment and civil-rights law firm, Brian realized a deep-seated appreciation for the law. He is drawn to immigration law in particular because it blends his interest in law and his passion for social justice.
Brian grew up in Barquisimeto, Venezuela and is a fluent Spanish speaker. Outside the office, he enjoys carpentry, politics, reading and basketball.
